Wasteland Blues music pack is a collection of 12 main music themes,12 in-game loops. I recorded the pack in the period between November 2018 and January of 2019,40+hours of recording and mixing the tracks. All tracks are tested in various situations like headphones, pc and tv speakers and mixed to have a good sound in all of them. Loops are also tested and work without clips and pops. Loops are also being written in a way that the player cannot easily tell when the loop starts or ends. Files are in wav format at 16 bit, 44100Hz.

Kinematic 2D by Lightbug
DESCRIPTION
Kinematic2D is a Fully Kinematic (non-physics based) 2D Character controller solution that allows you to do the movement of your 2D character while handling collisions. Basically it offers the same functionalities the default Unity Character Controller offers (and more), but with three key differences, is prepared for two dimensional movement (2D), the character body shape is a box (instead of a capsule shape, this is great for platformers) and the collision detection method works with 2D and 3D colliders.
The main goal is to give you the possibility of building a tight character controller, not worrying about the collision boring stuff, so you can focus mainly on your character design and mechanics … the fun stuff!
GAMES
This asset was initially designed for 2D platform games (platformers) in general, although you can use it in some clever way and make it work the way you want (like for example a top-down RPG).
CONTENT
The main content of this asset separates into two parts:
- The Core: The main part of the package corresponds to the Character Body class (Collision Handling) and Character Motor Component (Movement), with these C# scripts you can configure the basics of your character, think of this two as the equivalent of the classic “Character Controller” component provided by Unity, but for 2D.
- The Implementation: Consist of a bunch of scripts that implement the functionality of “the core” (Input, movement handling, animation, AI). This part of the package acts as an example implementation of the Core, although it’s super handy and useful (based in games like Hollow Knight and Celeste).
COLLISION DETECTION
The main difference with others character controllers out there is that Kinematic2D integrates a BoxCast method to detect collisions, along with the traditional Raycast method, this means not only fine precision but performance. The BoxCast solution is great for complicated shapes and it is very efficient (tested with hundreds of characters in the scene running at 60 fps). The Character Motor component allows you to switch between both methods at any time.
REQUIREMENTS
Even if everything works just fine from the get go It's recommended to have at least some basic C# programming skills (intermediate level recommended) to take full advantage of the asset, for example to extend the character controller, add new states or new abilities, customize the animation system, create the AI, etc.
