Tutoriais Sketchup |

Tutorial Series: Unity 3D easy steps |
Hi everyone, Unity 5, the long waited "WebGL ready" version is coming soon and will be a fundamental tool for the imminent Web3D/WebGL revolution. 1-Unity 3D Easy first Scene The virtual scene, in the style of the classic VRML worlds, includes the avatar in navigation. This is the first of a Tutorial series on Unity 3D for beginners. I am counting with "a little help from my friends" and students to contribute and make them useful and motivating. Tutorial/Defy build a tent in a minute |
Tent one minute in Vivaty Studio To use on your projects/worlds we show (in several posts) how to create a practical multi-purpose tent that serves to host parties, exhibitions, to accommodate tired avatars, etc. Will be created from a solid primitive, a sphere. Apparently this is not possible due to the difference of the forms intended. But as you know by now, everything is possible in 3D, this is the realm of magic. Plus, let's make it amazingly easy! Step 1- put the sphere on the scene. What is the next step? While preparing post 2, I'm waiting for your comments and hints vcard |

Tutorial: 1-Unity 3D Easy first Scene (vers. 2, WebGL) |
(updated on 6-December-2019) Hi everyone, Unity 3D is a "WebGL ready" application since version 5, released in early march 2015. A mainstream tool long before, with its mature WebGL deployer has become a fundamental tool for the ongoing Web3D/WebGL revolution. Web3D standards started in the 90's with VRML and evolved to X3D in 2000's generating a considerable attention and some enthusiasm but limited success/dissemination. The lack of browser endorsement then, users had to install plugins, was part of the problem. "WebGL reaches all platforms, desktop and mobile, via the browsers but can also be packaged into native apps and run independent of a browser on both desktop and mobile. It is now supported on more devices than Flash (according to Wired magazine estimates)." in From VRML to WebGL, 2019. 1- Unity 3D Easy first Scene With the help of our quick 8 pages tutorial you will be amazed to see how easy it is to build from scratch a complete scene including terrain, sky, vegetation and an avatar/player to navigate trough! This is the first of a Tutorial series on Unity 3D for beginners. I am counting with "a little help from my friends" and students to contribute and make learning 3D useful, motivating an fun! 2- Download Browse this and other available tutorials of this series at onedrive: https://1drv.ms/f/s!AiVFncpESHaShZNd_LnlJAIsmSHH7A 3- Defy Please contribute to the defy on our forum "Tutorials, scripts and code" at our forum: and feel free to comment and suggest ! Tutorial: Splash Screen and Enhancement in WebGL Builds |
Hi all, Unity personal edition lacks efficient splash screen tools and the ones available produce a poor result hardly better than the boring grey entry most seen in WebGL builds. Fortunately we can open the webGL build folder, tweak it and make a better entry to our creations. In a tiny "one page tutorial" we explain the creation of the splash screen in the editor and how to enhance it tweaking 3 images of the build folder. Fig: Enhanced splash screen in WebGL build Demo: http://odisseia.babelx3d.net/unity3d/baloon_billboard_UI_Mouse_Over_click_test3/index.html The made by Unity message is still there but significantly less impactful. The tutorial (and a zip with the replacing images) is available in our Unity3D tutorials public drive (look inside for "TutorialsInAPage" folder): 3-Unity3D_SplashScreen_and_Enhancement Defy: Using the tutorial info, create your own splash screens and answer to this post with images and links to your creations Enjoy! vcard |

Tutorial: using MakeHuman Characters in Unity |
Hi all, Unity comes with one character out of the box, ethan, already managed has a 3rd Person Controller prefab with the standard gesture animations (Walk, run, jump, crouch, idle). We can get other avatars in repositories like Unity’s Asset Store (lots of free stuff in there) or by making them ourselves in programs like Makehuman. Fig: Unity 3D Tutorial: Using MakeHuman Characters Demo: http://odisseia.babelx3d.net/unity3d/webgl_makehuman_avdemo3/index.html In this tutorial we use MakeHuman, an easy and intuitive software that can export characters in .fbx, properly configured with a “Game Engine Rig” compatible with Unity3D. The concepts are valid to import similarly configured characters made by other software (Blender, Daz Studio, …). The tutorial is available in our Unity3D tutorials public drive: 2-Unity3D_5_Using_MakeHuman_Characters Defy: Using the tutorial info, create your own avatar and answer to this post with images and links to it Enjoy! vcard |
