This is a fully functional retro slot machine including fully materialized slot machine and pedestal models, images, video clips, sound effects, and scripts, in Unity for use in VR projects.

The slot machine can be configured for a predetermined sequence of outcomes or use the random, 91.5% return-to-player, pay table with a 1 to 3 credit multiplier. The big win produces a 'genie fortune card' reward along with a fanfare sound effect.

The slot machine also has a circuit breaker with push-button reset, which shuts the slot machine down when it's 'blown', triggering sparks and smoke particle effects.

This package depends on the SteamVR plugin and contains:

• Two demo scenes
• Scripts for operating the slot machine game play, the machine's ratcheting handle action, and the demo room control panel
• Eight 44.1kHz .wav sound effects
• Thirteen PBR materials with over thirty-seven 2048x2048 textures

Grouping Tool by Alexey Strelkov

Easily group GameObjects together right in the Unity Hierarchy Panel from the context menu or with a keyboard shortcut (Cmd+G on Mac or Ctrl+G on Windows).

By default objects are grouped into an empty GameObject.

You can use your own Prefab template for grouping objects. Set the object template in "Window > Grouping Tool > Group Template" . Use context menu or keyboard shortcut to group objects with your custom Prefab Parent template (Cmd+Shift+G on Mac or Ctrl+Shift+G on Windows).

Spring 2019: New Release: HyperMatter 1.1 – with Collision Detection

HyperMatter is a plugin for producing high-quality (deformable and rigid) motion and effects,

Designed to be easy to use. A relatively small number of controls enable a wide range of motion styles and behaviours, including : swinging, falling, bouncing, rolling, slipping and sliding, general squash-and-stretch effects, inertial deformations , animatronics, etc, through to flying logos, flags and banners, underwater scenes, facial animation, skinning simple skeletal forms and characters, etc. . The possibilities are endless. Users with little (or no) knowledge of either dynamics or writing scripts can benefit from all that HyperMatter has to offer.

With just a few mouse-clicks you can create a controlling Hyp deformer object from selected Unity object(s), edit its material properties (including density, elasticity, incompressibility, friction, gravity, etc) and set its initial state. To control the motion and behaviour of an object you just need to add HyperMatter constraints, as and when necessary (only one or two constraints will be needed for the most common effects). Your object(s) are now physically based – and ‘alive’ in a very real sense: Pick an object up by a corner and it will swing and stretch all by itself. Release it, and it will fall to the floor, and bounce and roll and slide, just as objects do in real life – and with hardly any effort on your behalf.

Combining HyperMatter’s physically based mechanisms with all the features available in Unity will open a huge range of possible effects, motion types and behaviours.

The plugin includes numerous example scenes, comprehensive tutorials and documentation covering all aspects of the plugin and background topics.
