In this texture pack, I referenced the river mouth, where rivers meet the sea and ocean. Such places are indistinct beaches. It contains materials dragged by both the sea and the river. The rounded stones are usually brought by the river. Some creatures such as shellfish are dragged ashore by the sea. Mosses and stones are other materials seen in such places. I recommend using this concept in such situations.

Switchboard targets .NET Standard 2.1, and has been tested for compatibility with Unity Editor versions 2021.3.0 and 2022.3.0. Previous major version of the Unity Editor are not compatible, as .NET Standard 2.1 is required. The core module is compatible with any C# application that targets .NET Standard 2.1 or above.

Summary

Switchboard is an application framework for Unity. It provides a composition root so you can define what occurs when the application runs, regardless of which scenes are loaded. This asset requires Playmaker as a base asset. It won't work without Playmaker!

✍️ Usage

Open the Playmaker "Action Browser" window. There will be a new category "UI Toolkit" with actions specifically made for UI Toolkit.

😎 HINT 1:

Each Query action takes either a game object OR a UIDocument. If no UI Document is given then it will search for it on the game object.

🧐 HINT 2:

Use Set/GetFloat and Set/GetColor to set styles that do not have an explicit action.

Use GetNextChild to iterate over elements.

Use UITKObjectCompare to compare objects instead of the default object compare.

🤠 HINT 3:

Use "Wait for Layout" to perform actions only after the ui layout has finished calculating. Handy if you want to read the size of an element right at the start.
