Known Limitations for the 2.0 Version:
Combining skinned mesh can be challenging given there may be many different situations, for more inofrmation, check out our One Mesh tutorial viedos.
1. Complex models:
- Issue: May not accurately combine some parts when there are numerous skinned mesh renderers with different material shader settings.
Solution: If issues persist, only combine the parts that can be successfully merged. Sometimes the positions of each object in the hierarchy will also change the combining result. For example, in parent object A, there are two child objects B and C. By switching the position of B and C may change the combining result. (A-B-C to A-C-B)
Check out our YouTube tutorial videos for complex model combine process. We will continue updating One Mesh to ensure the best results for complex models.
2. Cloth Physics Components, materials with different render settings:
Issue: Some components like Cloth physics won't function correctly after combining the skinned mesh. Hair, fur, or similar materials typically use fade or cutout settings for shaders. These materials should not be combined with others, as they may not render properly.
Solution: If your skinned mesh renderer includes a Cloth component, do not combine it with other parts to ensure the Cloth component functions as intended.
3. Custom Shader Support:
- Issue: Currently, the material combine function only supports Main Textures, Metallic Maps, Normal Maps, and Occlusion Maps. There is no support for other shader settings.
- Solution: You may still be able to use the combined atlas for custom shaders, but it will be limited to the textures mentioned above. Just remeber to change the shader back to custom shaders after combining because by default after combining, shaders will be set to Standard/URP/HDRP.
4. Blend shapes:
- Issue: Current version One Mesh 2.0 cannot combine multiple blend shapes effectively, not ideal for complex blend shapes. For example, If a character has two skinned mesh renderers with blend shapes, only one blend shape can be combined.
- Solution: If issue persists, don't combine the skinned mesh renderer with blend shapes with the other skinned mesh renderer. For more tips on combining blend shapes, check out our YouTube tutorial video. We will continue updating One Mesh to ensure the best results.
TIPS:
Combining skinned meshes reduces draw calls but be cautious: once combined, all parts are rendered together. Combine only meshes that will be visible simultaneously. Otherwise, even off-camera elements will be rendered, negatively impacting game performance.

This package provides you with a completely working terminal-like interface. If your game needs a working terminal to be a part the computers, this can help you do that. It is also easy to add custom commands to the source code. Look at the "technical details" for more info on adding custom commands. Apart from that, the color of the interface is ever so easy to change, completely changing the look and feel of your game. Contact me for custom command request here.
It is also extremely easy to add custom commands to to change the variables in the game like player speed or player position during runtime without leaving the game view. It has implemented Admin access meaning, you can restrict certain commands from certain users.
You can contact me if you want custom commands to affect various game variables during runtime. Depending upon the scale of the request, i can do it either for no or a small fee.
You can also add it yourself. It is as easy as adding a function and if else in the terminalv3.cs file.
I will be adding more and more commands to closely resemble working on a linux terminal or any command line interface along with fun and useful custom commands.
