Bringing your DAZ figures and morph animations into Unity is sometimes not a strait forward affair. The main problem is Unity only accepts a range of 0 to 100% for morphs/blendshapes while DAZ Studio often allows negative values or above 100%.
Features:
- Modify your figure's blendshapes in Unity to accomodate negative or larger than 100% morph values from DAZ Studio;
- Export morph values from DAZ Studio (for a customized character or animation) via an XML transfer file;
- Import the XML transfer file in Unity and apply the morph values to your figure's modified blendshapes;
Required software:
- DAZ Studio 4.10 Pro Edition (64 bit)
- Unity 5.6.1f1 Personal
- Genesis 3 Female and Male figures
Important:
- The asset does not transfer skeletal animation curves. It only transfers morph animation curves;
- Only Genesis 3 figures are supported;
- The Lite version of the asset does not include the source code for certain scripts and only exports morph animation curves for the body (not for the clothing items). Check the Pro version for this features.
