Golems are melee creatures that come with 5 default textures, each with a Substance Painter source file to match.
CUSTOMIZE TEXTURES
Use sliders to adjust the look & feel of the monsters. Easily change colors, add special effects like dirt, mud, blood, ice, snow, moss & more. It's fast and allows you to create any number of looks that perfectly suit your game. Most texture maps are 2048x2048.
Use the "Texture Creation" scene to quickly modify the look of the models, and then use the "Mass Export" tool to export all the Procedural Materials into game-ready Standard Shader materials with a single click.
MESH MORPHING
Exposed Blend Shapes allow for massive mesh morphing and customization. You can save settings in prefabs or script the shapes for in-game customization or randomization of your characters. Now you can spawn completely random enemies that all look different from each other.
CUSTOM RE-MIXABLE MUSIC
Music has been composed specifically for the characters we produce. The tracks are separated into layers and set up for use with the Unity Audio Mixer. Use this to mix your own tracks, and create the perfect sound for your game levels, and export all your mixes with a single click into game-ready .wav files!
A "Composers Mix" is also included if you do not want to mix your own track, and you can easily export the included mixes as well.
SOUND EFFECTS

Many of the animations now feature matching sound effects, along with a simple audio controller script that makes playing them and controlling things like volume, volume by speed etc easy. Nothing brings characters to life like high quality matching audio.

Animation Rig | Substance Painter | Substance Designer
Animation Rig is provided in, usually, Maya or 3DS Max format, and can be used to create new animantions that better suit your project.
Whenever possible, Substance Painter project files are included so those who knwo the program can drastically re-texture the models. In some cases, re-textureing may be more difficult due to limitations in Painter or because the original texture was not created in Painter.
All of our Customizable Textures are created in Substance Painter. If you'd like, you can go into the source file and learn how we did it, or tweak settings to better suit your needs.
Please note: Source Files do not give you license to share or sell the animations or textures you create. If you're a highly skilled artist and interesetd in sharing or selling your work to the InfinityPBR community as add-on packages, please contact me.

LEGACY SHADERS
Don't be fooled by the "requires Unity 5" message! The textures our system exports work with legacy shaders the same way any other character you already have does. You'll need Unity 5 to set up the textures, but once exported, you can bring them in to ANY Unity version and they'll work.
POLYCOUNT
We provide multiple LODs from High Poly (good for cinematics) to Low Poly (great for mobile). However, I suggest you use Simplygon or Mantis Online (google it, it's free) for creating your own LODs that fit your project/platform.

Virtual Worlds Technology for University of Edinburgh
This post summarises some of the virtual worlds technology that is in use within the Virtual University of Edinburgh (Vue) community. It is provides as a single post to bring together some of the notes and blog posts for the convenience of the School of Informatics Educational Technology team.
Platforms
- Second Life – a commercial grid run by Linden Lab in California. Vue regions have been in place since 2007. From 2018 no paid-for regions have been retained but alternative educational spaces are available. See this blog post for advice.
- OpenSimulator (or OpenSim) – an open source community platform. There are Vue regions on grids run by the pen source community for testing and educational uses (OSGrid) and within the University of Edinburgh on servers maintained currently by Austin Tate (Openvue)
- Sinespace – a new platform with VR headset, desktop and mobile clients. Vue regions are maintained on this platform having been converted from the Second Life/OpenSim content via the OAR Converter tool into the Unity3D development environment for delivery in Sinespace.
- Other platforms: Vue has used a range of platforms from “There” some 12 years ago to more recent newer technology platforms such as High Fidelity, Sansar, etc.
Meetups in Virtual Worlds
Meetups can take place in facilities such as The Venue@Vue, the OpenVCE amphitheatre, and various I-Rooms (Virtual Spaces for Intelligent Interaction).
Class meetups, mixed reality workshops and conferences, seminars, etc are run in Second Life, OpenSim and on other platforms…
Virtual Graduations
Graduates (especially those achieving distance education degrees) who cannot attend physical graduations in Edinburgh can in some schools take an active part in the ceremony via participation in a virtual ceremony linked via two way video links to the McEwan hall graduations. Real Stars Skybox by Geoff Dallimore
