Benday Dots Generator by Louca Coles
An editor extension that can be used to generate a pattern of Benday Dots which can be used for example as a masked overlay on top of a character sprite to generate a comic style.
There are currently two shapes that the dots can be drawn in: rectangle and circle. There are more planned and the generator class is going to have a custom inspector, which should make things look cleaner. For example, currently each dot data shows settings for both rectangle and circle data, but should eventually only show the data related to the type of shape.
Note: you may need to modify the exported image to remove the background and add an alpha channel, if you want to use as an overlay.

Performance: Thoroughly tested with VR (HTC ViVe). The demo scene is heavy and high-end hardware is required, but the set can be used to build much smaller, simpler environments.
Please be sure to use linear color space, deferred rendering path, and use post-processing on the camera (the configured profile is provided in the pack)!
