qASIC is a simple collection of tools for quickly creating games. It comes with a lot of basic features that can make your game more accessible to others and help you debug faster and easier.

How can it make things faster?
It comes with a lot of basic features which you would need to code yourself from scratch. It makes saving simple and audio more controllable. By integreting your game with the Game Console and Info Displayer (which is very simple), you can fix bugs faster and debug things on the fly.
Game Console
The Game Console lets you view logs and run commands in and outside of the editor. Out of the box it can already show you Unity debug messages in game. You can use the built in commands or make your own to quickly fix and debug your project.
Info Displayer
The Info Displayer is a box that shows basic information in your game. You can display any value from within your code, or use one of the default displayers. These can display: framerate, hardware information, version of qASIC, your game and unity.
Options
Most games use giant scripts with mountains of methods all connected to every component in the menu. This solution is very messy. The Options System uses tags so that every interactable can be independent from others. You can call methods from any script by using tags, which makes the process of adding settings quicker and easier.
Input System
The Input System is optional but it's also deeply integrated with other qASIC features. Currently it relies on the legacy input system, which will be changed in the very near future. It lets you remap buttons (something that the legacy input system struggles with) and manage keys better.
Audio Management
The Audio Manager lets you play and control clips globally. You can pause, unpause and stop clips from anywhere. They also get moved with the scene, so you won't have to reset audio from level to level. The Audio Controller can be attached to an Audio Source, which lets you globally pause and unpause every clip. When combining both you can fe. pause and unpause audio in the whole game. This is very useful for pause menus.
File Management
Saving was always really difficult. Luckily the File Manager can help you with that. It lets you easily save files using Binary, File Writer and JSON. You can also use the Config Controller to save configuration files, which are very useful for servers or user preferences. The manager comes with a lot of other features, such as: accessing special system directories or deleting entire folders with other files inside it.
