Text and TextMeshPro - Localization by BuslikDrev

Multilingual objects of the Text and TextMeshPro types. It is enough to connect one script to one object, which contains objects containing text.

English:

To configure the script you need:

1. Place the "BuslikDrev" folder in the "Аssets/Scripts" folder. Result: "Аssets/Scripts/ВuslikDrev/Localization.cs";

2. create the "Localization" folder and language files with the name of the language in the .cfg format in the "Аssets" folder. Result: "Аssets/Localization/English.cfg". For a list of language names see here: https://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/SystemLanguage.html;

3. connect the script "BuslikDrev/Localization.cs" to the object that contains the text components (if the object has child objects, then the script does not need to be connected to the child objects, it will automatically process the text components).

4. You can create a separate language file for each scene; for this, there is a "File" field in the Localization Script component settings (BuslikDrev/Localization.cs). When specifying your file name, you need to create a folder with the name of the language. Result: "Аssets/Localization/English/myname .cfg".

5. in the text input components you need to specify an identifier instead of text, for example, "text_unity", and in the language file "Аssets/Localization/English.cfg" a line like this "text_unity = Unity the best". The new identifier in the language file is indicated on a new line.

6. I recommend to create a group of objects containing text components. you will need to connect the script only 1 time.

Для настройки скрипта нужно:

1. папку "ВuslikDrev" поместить в папку "Аssets/Scripts". Итог: "Аssets/Scripts/ВuslikDrev/Localization.cs";

4. вы можете для каждой сцены создать отдельный языковой файл, для этого в настройках компонента Localization Script (ВuslikDrev/Localization.cs) есть поле "File". При указании своего имени файла, вам нужно создать папку с названием языка. Итог: "Аssets/Localization/English/myname .cfg".

5. в компонентах ввода текста вам нужно указывать идентификатор вместо текста, например, "text_unity", а в языковом файле "Аssets/Localization/English.cfg" строку такого вида "text_unity=Unity the best". Новый идентификатор в языковом файле указывается с новой строки.

6. рекомендую создавать группу объектов содержащие текстовые компоменты т.к. нужно будет подключить скрипт всего 1 раз.
