Camera Projecter is an asset designed to add different kinds of projection into Unity camera. It uses an image effect that stitches rendered image of each six-sided perspective 90° camera then project them at once using sphere or map projection found in different sources in internet.

There are seven kinds of map projection used in this asset. The resulting image is largely depends on what kind of map projection is used. Different kinds of projection has its pros and cons and so each has its unique purposes.

Some projection technique like Stereographic projection is used popularly to render beyond 180° and resembling the so-called Fish eye effect, some other like Geographic projection is used to build a full 360° panorama image, and other projection like Orthographic projection can be used as a convex lens simulation because of its circular shape in the camera.
