C# Animator by Ben Roscoe
C# Animator is a tool for writing C# code that generates animator assets. By simply deriving from the "CSharpAnimator" or "CSharpAnimator_ClassBase" classes and overriding a single method, you can write C# code in a declarative way to describe your animator's layers, states, state machines, blend trees, parameters, transitions and tags. Within this class, you can expose fields to the Unity editor, exactly as you can in any scriptable object. Using C# to design animators greatly improves productively when dealing with large and complex state machines. States and transitions can much more easily be renamed, moved, copied, referenced and procedurally generated using the C# language. Once the code is written, just hit the "Generate" button on your animator, and you'll still have all the debugging and visualization features of the animator window!
A big feature of C# Animator is the ability to specify multiple sources for a transition. This means it's no longer necessary to duplicate the same transition between different states many times as it may be using the animator window. Since transition source states can be specified as recursive, you can create transitions from an entire state machine and all it's children to another state in a single line of C# code!
C# Animator consists of only 2 source files, making integration extremely smooth. If appropriate, C# Animator can still be used with only one of the source files.

A big feature of C# Animator is the ability to specify multiple sources for a transition. This means it's no longer necessary to duplicate the same transition between different states many times as it may be using the animator window.
