Tracks included and a description of each:

Ancient Gods
This track serves well as an opening piece emphasizing the ancient power of the Egyptian Gods. The first half of the track brings to the forefront an ancient flute accompanied by several rhythmic elements and female vocals, all while building up to an explosive orchestral second half led by a deep, powerful bass section that sets the foundation for the higher strings to create a dark and mysterious tone.

Book of the Dead
A longer ambient focused piece dominated by ethereal plucked instruments and hypnotizing Duduk flute melodies. The track aims to immerse the listener into the mysterious rituals and magic of the times.

Desert Merchants
(Includes loop variation):
A light hearted piece that keeps the overall "Egyptian" tone but includes a few more modern elements with a funky bass line and catchy progressions.

Immortality
Symbolizing the eventual fall but enduring legacy of the Egyptian civilization. The track emits a sort of calmness and tranquility leading to an emotional orchestral string section.

Journey on the Nile
(Includes 1 loop variation and an added ambience variation):
A sail down the iconic river Nile including an ambient background track (additional track included without it) aiming to immerse the listener on a tour through Egypt under the hot desert sun, viewing the busy workers and exotic beasts along the river bank. Features a catchy bassline along with flute and santoor runs.

Rain Hymn
(Includes 1 loop variation and an added ambience variation):
A very traditional piece using ancient era instruments. A musical plea for the aid of the Goddess of Rain, Tefnut.

The Betrayal of Set
A story of fratricide and betrayal. The brutal murder of the God Osiris by his brother Set. A tense opening section desert winds, eerie plucked strings, and sweeping flute leads into the eventual murder symbolized by dark orchestral strings and haunting female vocals.

The First Pharaoh
A story of the rise in power of the first Pharaoh, Menes (Narmer) and his unification of the two kingdoms of Upper and Lower Egypt. A powerful, warlike piece with ethnic melodies and powerful horns symbolizing the climactic crowning of the Pharaoh and the prosperity and peace that followed.

The Secrets of Thoth
The Egyptian God of Knowledge, writing and magic was a highly regarded and mysterious entity. This immersive ambient like track personifies the God's magical and all knowing nature that few mortals would be able to comprehend.

Tomb Robbers
(Includes loop variation):
Fast paced with an overall sense of unease. The dangers of the Egyptian tombs are well known even to this day. Many treasure hunters would meet their deaths from a misstep or become forever lost due to a wrong turn in the darkness when the light of the torch finally goes out.

The Oasis Tavern
(Includes loop variation):
Your travels have taken you to many far lands. As you make your way through a crowded bazaar of merchants and exotic beasts, a lone tavern stands with doors wide open, the sound of strange music pouring through.
