Wood Floor Substances and Materials by PolyLabs
Using Substances in Unity requires the Substance3D for Unity asset package.
Every Substance material included can be customized in-editor, and at runtime, and dynamically render from 512x512 to 4096x4096.
If you want to use a static workflow instead, the 12 included Substance presets have been pre-baked as 2K PBR textures with maps for:
- BaseColor
- Normal
- Height
- Metallic
- Roughness
- Ambient Occlusion
Additionally, you can use external tools like Substance Player to customize and batch-export the Substances into textures.
For runtime use-cases, a consts file has been included that automatically maps the Substance parameters, and offers in-depth docstrings to give you the documentation as you type.

Do you feel a lack of mood, magic, warmth in your scene? Or you need an instrument to help you to guide the player through your scene? Stylized godrays can help you.
Stylized Godrays is a custom shader with dynamic effects that take simple 2D textured planes and turn it to the beautiful dynamic godrays, sunshafts and other volumetric light.
The shader uses vertex position to direct 2D planes right to the camera that's why the rays appear for the player as a 3D effect. Using different textures and customizable shader properties you can achieve a different stylized look. Change color, texture, brightness, add fog and dynamic fades effects to achieve look you like.
Stylized Godrays shader fully made with the ShaderGraph.
Properties list:
- Ray texture - the texture of the ray.
- Color - ray color.
- Brightness Range - depending on ray position it gets random brightness. 0 - means all rays do not have random brightness. 1 means rays can get brightness up to 0.
- Brightness Seed - changes seed of the “Brightness range” property.
- Dynamic Fade Strength - makes rays fade in time. 0 means no fade. 1 means fade to complete transparency.
- Fade Speed - controls the speed of Dynamic Fading.
- Depth Fade - creates smooth transition to transparency in zones where rays intersect with other objects.
- Camera Fade Distance - when the camera gets closer to the rays it fades out to prevent hard clipping. The more value of this parameter the earlier rays begin to fade.
- Fog Direction - defines direction of the fog in world space coordinates. Using X, Y and Z vectors.
- Fog SIze - defines the size of the fog in world space dimension.
- Fog Speed - defines speed of the fog.
- Fog influence - defines how strong fog influences the rays.
- Fog Color
- Fog Texture
- Follow Camera - determines if the planes will rotate i’s face to the camera.
- Orthographic Camera - check it if you use the orthographic camera to make depth fade calculate right

Important: Note that this package is not a traditional terrain editing tool. When I wanted to create a DOTS-based game, I noticed that I needed a Dots-based world, so that was the original purpose of creating this package: to provide a cornerstone of the DOTS game world by converting the terrain into a grid of entity. All features of this package are available at runtime, so they can combine perfectly with other excellent terrain editing plugins. Just save to Unity terrain and add the conversion script to work.
Key Features:
1. Runtime divides the terrain into the same size unit grid.All the terrain grids uses the same mesh automatically generated by the program as well as the same material, so the theoretical memory consumption of a single grid is zero.
2. Configurable mesh LOD.configuring LOD effectively reduces the total number of rendered vertices on the screen at the same time.
3. The mesh itself contains skirt edges, which are used to eliminate possible terrain cracks by switching the LOD grid.
4. Use a sampling scheme based on vertex-pixel alignment.The vertex normals and positions are directly written to the sampling texture through the forecast calculation to avoid the real-time calculation of the normals.
5. Shader All content is made through shadergraph, which means that it is very easy to modify and customize, and you can add personalized content to that basis.
6. Collider dynamic management system.The Dots colliders are generated or destroyed by default according to the distance of the grid from the main camera.The generation of the collider does not block the main thread.
7. Support for object-oriented Collider.If you don't want to convert the entire game world to Dots, you can choose to generate object-oriented Colliders.
8. Increase or reduce part of the terrain height during runtime.You can choose the sizes and different shapes of the influence range.
9.Generate or fill holes in the terrain at runtime.Holes are generally used to produce underground worlds such as tunnels.The system handles the colliders synchronously when the holes are generated or filled.
10. Add graffiti to the terrain during runtime.You can copy a part of the specified map to the specified area of the terrain.
11. Limitations: tree transformation. Make sure that all the Prefab features of the tree used by the terrain support conversion to Entity.
12. Provide all source codes.
