Havok Physics for Unity by Havok
The Havok Physics integration for Unity brings this power to Unity through a close partnership with the Unity engineering team. This is a first-class integration for DOTS-based projects sharing the same data model used by Unity Physics, meaning seamlessly select between simulating your scene using Unity Physics or Havok Physics, without needing to reauthor your assets.
The licensing and distribution model of Havok Physics for Unity is owned and managed entirely by Microsoft (Havok) and not Unity.
| Distribution
Havok Physics for Unity is distributed through the Unity Package Manager. See the Quick Start Guide for details. It is available for free for Personal and Plus users. If you're a Pro user, you can purchase an monthly development subscription.
| Performance
Havok Physics is heavily optimized for typical game uses cases. Core algorithms have been refined over many years, and various automatic caching strategies (including sleeping of inactive objects) mean that CPU resources are spent only where needed.
| Behavior
Havok Physics is a robust physics engine designed to handle the demands of AAA games, which often include complex scenes with lots of physical interaction. By working with partners across the industry for over twenty years, Havok has seen, solved and continue to iterate on many of the hardest problems facing physics simulation.
This means stable stacking of physics bodies, minimal artifacts when you have fast moving bodies, and in general more controlled behavior especially when given non-optimized collision geometry.
This is a Restricted Asset pursuant to the Asset Store EULA. Your use of this SDK is governed by the Havok SDK License.

Havok Physics for Unity is a binary-only distribution of Havok Physics that has the same industry-standard power but without access to C++ source code (known to existing licensees as "Base and Product" access) or direct support from Havok.
