DEXSOFT Editor Tools: Group Selected by DEXSOFT-Games, 3DModels-textures

Very useful little script from our DEXSOFT Editor Tools series.
When you create your levels, you should always take care that objects on scene are well organised and arranged in a manner that you can easily find and replace elements. For example, if you add windows or some elements to your building you want them all to be grouped on that same building.
Using Unity editor it takes a lot of clicks to achieve that. You need to create new, empty GameObject, change its name (f.e. Building1), select objects which you want to place inside and then drag them onto just created empty object.
With Group Selected tool you can do that with one command. Select game objects holding CTRL key and choose one of two available commands from Tools-Group Selected menu. First one, Pivot from first selected (or to press Ctrl+G shortcut) will group selected object, take name from first selected object and preserve pivot from that object.
This option is ideal for creating new prefabs, just select all prefab elements, group them with this pivot option (Ctrl+G) and simply drag group in Prefabs folder. Done!
Second, Pivot zeroed out (SHIFT+G) will do the same, but pivot of the group will be placed in 0.0.0 point (origin).
So, selecting order is important if you want to take pivot from first selected object. In our example it is logical to select Building first and then windows and doors. Group will get name from the Building object and pivot will be chosen from those two options (Ctrl+G), from first object or in the origin (Shift+G).
Installation.
Download from Unity AssetStore or make new Editor folder inside Assets folder and copy script into it.

Usage.
Select desired objects holding Ctrl key in desired order in scene hierarchy and press Ctrl+G shortcut (Pivot from first selected), or Shift+G (Pivot zeroed out from Tools-Group Selected).

AUTO-MAT is the first tool in our new series of DEXSOFT Editor Tools.
Thanks to our long term experience in creating game assets and video games, we decided to develop a handy tool that will help you create materials in a short time.
Imagine having over 200 materials and 5 textures for each one of them, it could take you up to several hours to create materials and plug every texture into the corresponding slots.
Now, with our super useful tool, you can do it all with only one click!

Features:
The purpose of this tool is to automatically fill in all textures slots within selected materials.
This tool works only for standard Unity shader!

Usage:
All Standard materials in Unity have 9 Texture-Map Slots which need to be filled with corresponding textures. This could be a very time consuming process.
With AUTO-MAT Editor Tool, you can get it done with only one click!

The main steps:
1.STEP: Prepare all texture names while following the naming convention. Each used texture must have the same name as material name with its corresponding suffix (_Color, _Normal, _Metallic, etc).
The same applies for other maps in Standard shader like Height, Occlusion, etc.

Naming convention example:

Material name: Wood
Color map name: Wood_Color
Metallic map name: Wood_Metallic
Normal map name: Wood_Normal

Material name: Glass
Color map name: Glass_Color
Metallic map name: Glass_Metallic
Normal map name: Glass_Normal

You can of course use your own suffixes for all texture types! The only important thing is to use the same suffix all the time.
Recommended suffixes:
For Color maps: _Albedo, _AlbedoTransparency, _Color, _C, _c, For Normal maps: _Normal, _normal, _N, _n, For Metallic maps: _Metalli, _metallic, _M, _m,

When you finish with renaming all your textures and materials, you should have a similar look like the one in our example. All texture names are prepared and follow the same name convention. TextureName is the same as MaterialName and the same suffix is used for corresponding maps: _C for Color, _N for Normal, _M for metallic, etc.

2.STEP: Open AUTO-MAT Tool, select all materials that should be processed and drag them into the Materials field.

3.STEP: Check the “Has Suffix” field and in the fields below type the used suffixes.
In our example we used _C for Color, _M for Metallic, _N for Normal, etc.
When you are ready, press the “Fill Materials” button.

All materials which have followed the naming convention will be successfully filled in! If you click on the “Clear All Textures” button, you will empty all slots in all selected materials.
AUTO-MAT tool works well for all Unity versions from 2017. till now.

Esp32Ble - ESP32 BLE Interface by TomoSoft

Esp32Ble is an interface adapter between Windows PC and ESP32 using BLE (Bluetooth low energy). This adapter allows you to add the ESP32 to your game easily as a gamepad. You connect the sensors device (gyro, accelerometer, GPS, etc.) with ESP32, create scripts by referencing sample code in purchased assets. Thereby you can use the sensor data from the sensor on your game using BLE.

- the package includes the ESP32 sample code that obtains float 4-byte x, y, and z data from the ESP32. You write this code to the ESP32 using Arduino IDE.
- Read the data from the ESP32 and transfer the data to Unity by using BLE (Bluetooth low energy).
