- There will be potential loss of floating point data due to only 32-bit floating point support in the editor. Due to this, values are truncated at the last moment possible internally to be as accurate as possible.
- The example project does NOT come with DIS playback scenarios. It shows usage of the DIS plugin and supplies models for various DIS entities. The user will need to generate their own DIS network traffic. One way this can be done is by spinning up two instances of the example project, one for sending and one for receiving.
The GRILL DIS plugin allows users to set up custom DIS entities through custom objects provided by the plugin. It also provides basic User Datagram Protocol (UDP) socket support and handles interpreting of DIS network traffic using Open-DIS libraries. The plugin uses the interpreted DIS data to create and update user specified DIS entities in Unity. The DIS plugin provides an interface for a user to add on custom functionality when specific DIS data is received. The plugin also supports sending DIS information through utilizing the Open-DIS libraries allowing DIS data to be sent out of Unity to other DIS-capable simulations.
Core components of the GRILL DIS plugin are decoupled to allow for custom functionality to easily be added. If custom UDP socket support, Protocol Data Unit (PDU) processing, or managing of DIS entities are desired, the basic, supplied components can easily be replaced by new components. Furthermore, the GRILL DIS plugin is not tied down to a specific round earth model. The plugin provides its own geospatial conversion functions which for conversions between ECEF, LLA, and Flat Earth coordinates.
The GRILL DIS plugin currently has base functionality for a select few DIS PDUs. These include:

Animated Low Poly Angel Knight + 4 wings by Leonardo Olivieri Carvalho
Low poly animated angel knight with 101 animations + very low poly four wings bringing your own animations (32 animations). Total of 133 animations (Angel + Wings).
Float animations have many kind of attacks, but Stand animations have just one attack until now. Maybe I can add more Stand animations in the future if you guys want.
Its not possible to use this rig directly in Mixamo because I can't change the names in blender without loosing my created animations. Maybe in unity there is a solution that make possible get Mixamo animations, but you will need to adjust some armor parts in Blender, Maya or another software that permits you to control the armor part bones...
Anyway this Dark Angel is ready for the battle specially when floating =)
I am pretending to create more low poly angels with different armors and wings in the future.
You can do everything you need with this model except obviously sell this one in unity asset store, unreal marketplace or any other store. But you can sell this one as a skin in your own game, for example.
