The predator behaviour is a Blaze AI module that enables a Blaze AI character to turn into a predator searching for it's prey.

WHAT IS PREDATOR MODULE?

This module lets you turn ONE AI character per scene into a scary predator that searches for it's prey within a radius. The AI will try to find it's prey without knowing it's exact location but rather it's approximate location. Great for stealth and horror games!

PREDATOR BEHAVIOUR FLOW

By default, the predator is de-spawned on game start and after a randomized amount of time, it'll enter the scene through entry points you set (like doors & vents) and searches for the prey within the surrounding radius. When it finishes all of it's search points, it quits and exits the scene through exit points and waits until it's called again either through timer, noise or manual API call. Allowing the player to progress further and take a breath from the horror that is the predator!



CUSTOMIZABILITY & OPTIONS

Everything mentioned in the behaviour flow is editable and optional from timers, manual API calls, preventing exit and allowing infinite search, spawning directly on start, etc... You are not forced to use the default behaviour flow. Everything can be set easily through the inspector. Choose what you need and leave the rest. It's a breeze.



CLOSING-IN FEATURE

The Predator Director has a cool closing-in feature. Where the searching radius will decrease a certain value after each search point using a special calculation, making the AI more accurate and susceptible of finding the target the longer they (the target) stay in the same place.



APIs

The director has been equipped with tons of important APIs and properties to call. Like entering and exiting predator and specifying which points to enter and exit from, adding noise, instant despawn, etc... You can read all the APIs and properties from the documentation.



BLAZE SUPPORT

Since this module utilizes Blaze, it supports everything Blaze AI does. Even Offmesh Links, yes! Your predator can jump, climb and fall. Everything you know and love about Blaze is here, nothing has changed. This module only adds a new behaviour to Blaze AI.



PACKAGE & DEMO

This package comes with the demo shown in the tutorial, source code of the Predator Director and the Predator Behaviour both of which are very extendible, organized and commented. You also get the documentation.

VisionOS

The system supports both local and remote users, offering smooth hand and finger movements. XR Shared

Collects and synchronizes position/rotation data of rig parts (headset, hands, fingers) across users using hardware-specific scripts, including basic states. It introduces two grabbing methodologies, network hand-based and hardware hand-based. Additionally, it demonstrates basic locomotion via teleportation, movement initiation, movement execution and snap rotation.


Voice

High-quality, low-latency voice chat integration with Photon Voice. Spatial voice with Acoustic Echo Cancellation, lip synchronization, voice levels, and more.
