Advanced Terrain Grass by forst

ATG is a grass rendering solution which was built to replace the detail rendering system of Unity’s terrain engine in order to get rid of almost all spikes on the CPU — which usually are caused by new grass patches coming into sight when your camera is moving. So ATG will help you to reduce work on the CPU – but at the same time it might add some more costs on the GPU side.

Next to this initial purpose ATG offers significant improvements regarding lighting and wind animation.

ATG is not an authoring tool: It simply takes the grass and details you have added to your terrains and takes over their rendering. That being said ATG is compatible with any 3rd party authoring solution that allows you to create grass density maps for built in terrains within the Unity editor like e.g. Terrain Composer, Map Magic, World Creator or Gaia. Runtime distributed grass currently is not supported.

Master Scheduler is a tool that allows you to spread workload over time.

Example usage :

- AI : Your agents' AI doesn't need to be processed every frame. With Master Scheduler, you can guarantee that only a fixed number of your agents are doing work at any given moment and thus easily and efficiently spreading the AI workload over time.

- Explosions : Afraid that exploding a car in that parking lot will create an out of control chain reaction of OverlapSpheres ? Master Scheduler can easily spread the explosion events over the few following frames and eliminate frame time spikes.

- Spawning : you can queue thousands of spawning events and let the system handle the rest.

- Weapons : Your shotgun shoots multiple pellets ? That means multiple raycasts, impact visual and sound effects, GetComponent() calls and health updates in the same frame. With Master Scheduler you can spread the shooting event over a few imperceptible milliseconds and avoid the fps drop.

Master Scheduler doesn't create or manage threads. It creates job queues and executes them in the most efficient way over multiple frames.
You can either constraint the job queue to a maximum number of jobs per frame or to finish all jobs in a set number of frames.

Every project out there should have a job scheduling tool.

This is done by temporary render to texture, where the rendertexture is managed on runtime by DynaRes.

With this, your can simply implement sub- and supersampling in your game, do some cool pixelation effects, manipulate the rendered display ratio and more.

Field of View component has the following features:
