The Bus Game by Geoff Dallimore

Complete project for a playable game for children as young as 3 years old. Play alone or, better for kids, co-operatively take it in turns in this boardgame style app.

Each turn, roll the die and move a bus if you can. Watch out for traffic jams - Beep! Beep! Get all four buses to their destination before bedtime.

Uses brightly coloured, UV mapped Blender models of buses, roads, bushes, trees, pedestrians and corner shops. Music is a specially arranged version of The Wheels On The Bus.

Coded in straightforward C# with detailed comments. Uses Unity's navigation system for bus movement.

Tested for export with WebGL, Android and Windows.

The game makes educational use of colour, time, and some very simple strategy. The board was designed using probability calculations and tested with computer simulations so that victory is obtained about 75% of the time to prevent frustration, but to introduce concept of losing.

This is an asset that can emit arbitrary character strings as particles.
By replacing the texture (bitmap font) with the configuration file, you can emit particles with arbitrary fonts and characters.
(Please note the license of the font you want to use.)

Bitmap fonts and configuration files are created with Bitmap Font Generator and applications that support that format.

If it is a character included in a bitmap font, it is also possible to dynamically change the character during execution.
By design, modules of Texture Sheet Animation, CustomData are not available, but other modules can be used like normal particles.

The shader compilation target is 3 or more.
