This specific starter pack comes with 3 separate sprites of human enemies to be used within genre specific use cases and therefore further comes with 3 traditional animations for each of these sprites: idle, walk, attack.

In addition to the sprites usable for typical enemy encounters, this asset pack also provides 2 separate sprites to be used as player controlled characters. They each come with the following animations: idle, run, shoot, jump, take cover, hurt.

A tileset for building a sideview-based, industrial ruins environment is also attached. This tileset allows for building complex maps depicting broken and rundown factory buildings, with rusty metal walkways and dirty brick walls.

All animations are optimized for genre-typical sideview movement. Spritesheets are one-directional, however sprites can be mirrored for further use in a second direction. The option for other use cases obviously exists as well. Your creativity is the limit.

Animator Optimizer improves performance by dynamically applying LODs to animators. BATCHING

Features smart batching which splits the total amount of animators into groups and optimizes each group in a separate frame which further smoothes out the CPU.

BONE QUALITY AND ROOT MOTION

You can not only adjust bone quality for better performance, but also force-disable root motion on distant animators, saving resources where such accuracy isn’t needed.

RENDERING PIPELINE

As this asset doesn't rely on any rendering pipeline it works on all and any pipeline (built-in, URP & HDRP) but the demo is made for URP.

APIs

The system offers APIs to help you easily register and unregister animators from the optimizer.
