Q: Can I use this model in Blender / Cinema4D / 3dsMax / etc.?
A: Yes, you can. File formats such as .fbx can be imported anywhere. However, the rig and blendshapes are originally made in Maya and some software might not recognize them correctly. Unfortunately, I cannot give you support for this software because I do not have any experience with them. The only software that I support is Maya, Unreal Engine, and Unity.
My customers have reported to me that my models work in Blender.
Q: Are clothes from other models compatible?

This Character rig is based on the Humanoid Skeleton. The main bones hierarchy has remained untouched for easy retargeting. With additional bones, you can apply physics to different parts. The rig is made in Maya without plugins and does not have controls. The base pose is identical to the Humanoid Skeleton one, the only difference is the hand position. That means that you might want to adjust the bone position when retargeting for a better result. The 'Stop' event stops the generation of new particles without abruptly removing existing ones. There are two prefabs per effect with different appereance.

❓ What are (VFX) Events?
Think of the Sweeping Wave effect, for example. It has these events/effects: create, loop, hit, end and stop. In this case, you start with the 'create' event, which then automatically continues with the 'loop' event. Each time the Wave hits an enemy you send the ‘hit’ event that displays the corresponding effect. When the Wave expires, send an ‘end’ event that plays the final effect and stops the ‘loop’.
✔️ Let's have a look at the details:
- Important properties are exposed so you can change color, spawn rate, opacity etc. directly in the Inspector.
- Uses HDR colors - in combination with Bloom (Post Processing Effect), you have full control over the glow amount.
- You can freely change effects' transform to get the desired size.
- Where appropriate, world-space is used so moving objects leave trails and particles behind.
- Has optimized meshes to reduce overdraw.
- Utilizes custom uber effect shader made in Shader Graph.
- 1k textures with few exceptions used for tiny elements like sparks, embers etc.
- Works with Orthographic projection.
⚙️ Requirements
Requires Unity 2020.3 or newer with Visual Effect Graph and Shader Graph. Install those via Package Manager before installing this Pack. Works in URP and HDRP. Visual Effect Graph has limited compatibility with mobile devices (including WebGL platform).
If the VFX doesn't show up, it needs to be recompiled. This can be easily fixed by opening the VFX assets in UNI VFX\Missiles & Explosions\Visual Effects. When opened in the Visual Effects Graph, the assets are forced to recompile.

This set is designed to diversify access options for closed doors. You can make the player find or solve the password for the password access panel, make them search for the key card, or try to copy fingerprints or find a voice recording to activate the voice panel.
Asset has the following access control panels:
- A button that usually allows exiting the room without using the access panel.
- A panel with code access.
- A panel with voice access.
- A panel with fingerprint access.
- A combined panel that accepts key cards and fingerprints.
- A panel with key card access.
All panels have access indication that switches using a shader. There are three states of the indicator: off - the indicator is not lit, doors open - the indicator is lit green, doors closed - the indicator is lit red. With the code, you can easily control these states, and you can also set any other color for the doors open and doors closed states. In addition, there is the possibility to independently control the keyboard backlight, display, and fingerprint scanner backlight. It can be turned on or off, and the color or brightness can be changed.

⚠️ Requires Unity 2021.2+
It requires Unity 2021.2.0f1 or newer. That's because at that time Unity added the UI Toolkit for runtime use as a module. You may be able to use it in earliers releases too but you would have to install the com.unity.ui package which is no longer supported. I'd not recommend it and I do not support older Unity versions, sorry.
⚠️ Please name your elements
If you can then please add a unique name to each element that uses a script. It's not strictly necessary but it helps, especially if you are editing the UI Hierarchy a lot (links are more stable and faster that way).
⚠️ UXML editing outside of UI Builder
If you are editing (renaming, moving) elements outside the UI Builder then you may have to check your Link and Query script objects. The editor does not know of your changes until the asset has been reloaded.
✍️ Usage
There is a manual. Please read it ;-)
1) Open the UI Builder and the Hierarchy (like in the video)
2) Select the UI element you want to add a script to.
3) Right-Click on the gameobject with the UIDocument in the hierarchy and choose "UI Toolkit > Add or Select Script".
4) Add whatever Component you want to the created game object.
😎 HINT 1:
You can turn off the selection syncing via "Tools > UI Toolkit Scripts Components > Sync Selection". By default the synchronization is disabled in PLAY mode. You can enable it in the settings.
🧐 HINT 2:
If you inspect the "Link to Visual Element" component then you will find some handy buttons for linking.
🤠 HINT 3:
If you are a coder and want to add your own components then inherit from "UIComponentBase<T>". You can then assecc the linked & queried elements via the "Elements" property. Or you use the UIElementProvider component directly.
🤓 HINT 4:
Select the "Scripts" object in the inspector. It's very hand for creating new links.

Use Query components to effect more than just one object.
