▿About MITSUGETSU eight


The owner of MITSUGETSU eight, komiya hairu, is a Japanese voice actor, singer, composer, and engineer.


To date, we have received and produced various game voices primarily for companies in Japan, Korea, China, and other parts of Asia.

Regarding commissioned game voices, we offer a high degree of flexibility, such as recording unique spell chants specific to each work.

However, requesting voices from voice actors can often be a barrier for busy developers.

Additionally, using translation tools to create dialogue often results in unnatural language, and based on our experience, Japanese proofreading is necessary during recording.

(I know my English is sometimes unnatural too, sorry! lol)


In such a context, we wanted to make Japanese anime and game culture more accessible and enjoyable for many game developers.

With this in mind, we established the brand MITSUGETSU eight.


Drawing from our own experiences, we carefully select words that are easy for game developers to use and that can be applied to various scenarios.

This is how we create our voice asset , "TSUKAERU series."

"TSUKAERU" means "usable, convenient, awesome!" in Japanese.

SOFA Integration for Unity3D: The toolbox to enhance your project with interactive soft body simulations for real-time professional applications in 3D and XR.

Key Features:

The asset allows you to run SOFA simulation in the background while your Unity project is running. It offers a full integration of SOFA with two-way communication. In a nutshell, key features are:

  • At each Update of Unity, a SOFA simulation step is computed, but the execution is performed asynchronously. Therefore, the time step used in your physical simulation may be different to the Unity update frequency.
  • A hierarchy of C# classes relying on the Unity mono-behavior mechanism, map the behavior of SOFA components into Unity GameObjects.
  • SOFA simulation scene is parsed and recreated using those GameObjects. The scene graph can be accessed in the Hierarchy view and GameObjects can be edited using the Inspector view and parameters can be saved.

Developed by the InfinyTech3D company, this asset is composed of :

  • SOFA v23.12.00 c++ libraries. SOFA has been developed since 2006 by an international community made up of research centers and companies.
  • SofaAdvancedPhysicsAPI, a C++ library efficiently wrapping SOFA concepts in a single API
  • SofaUnity, the C# Unity3D asset binding SOFA library into Unity3D concepts
  • Several basic examples showing SOFA capabilities as well as advanced demo to interact with deformable objects, control objects on SOFA side as well as deploying a catheter

Limitations:

This version requires users to possess knowledge of creating a SOFA simulation scene and integrating it into Unity for parsing and integration. High-level SOFA-Unity object creation and direct creation of SOFA components within the Unity3D editor are currently unsupported.

  • Support for Geomagic Touch, Follow Haptic Avatar, and Haply Robotics Inverse3 will be released as separate assets on the Unity asset store soon.
  • Similarly, XRay rendering, Ultrasound rendering, and VR Tools will be available as separate assets as well on the Unity asset store.
  • Features such as enhanced medical training, robotics research, virtual prototyping, and more are not provided out-of-the-box in this asset. This asset serves solely as a toolkit for building your own simulators.

Windows dll of SOFA are not provided in this version. They must be downloaded separately. Linux, Mac or android support is not possible right now.

Voxel Destruction Pro by Atan

🔷 Directly load from MagicaVoxels vox files

This Package allows you to model anything in the free Voxel Modeling Software "MagicaVoxel" and then save it in the StreamingAssets folder and directly load them in Unity. Additionally you could also procedually generate the voxeldata, the package makes it easy to add your own functionalities.

🔷 Fully multithreaded

This Package takes heavy use of the Unity job system, in order to put the load onto the other cores instead of the main thread. There of the jobs are:


Greedy Meshing: Generates the Mesh using a greedy meshing algorithm that minimizes the triangle count

Mesh creation: Creates the Meshdata directly from the NativeArrays returned by the Greedy Mesher. This saves performance since you don't have to copy the data to the main thread. The bounds of the mesh will also be calculated inside this job

Collider backing: Whenever you set the Mesh of a Meshcollider, it will bake this collider. This takes up a lot of performance especially for complex meshes. We allocate this onto another thread which ensures that the main thread performance is not effected

Voxel search: Whenever a destruction occurs this job searchs the voxels that are effected by it, using distance calculations

Connected component search: If a voxelobjects contains floating fragments that are not connected to the main mesh, we need to seperate those. This can be done using the Connnected component search algorithm

Fragmenter: This jobs creates the fragments from the removed voxels


Most of these jobs use simple interfaces, which allows you to add your own implementations. Future updates may also introduce new implementations for some of these jobs.


🔷 Full package remake

This package is a complete remake of the Voxel Destruction package, compared to the previous package it has a lot of improvements:


Better performance: The new package is much faster, there are many performance improvements. You can now fluently destroy models that were barely able to load in the old version of the package. The fragments now also get created in real time, which allows you to further personalize the destruction.

Higher usability: The functionallities are now split into multiple scripts, that allow you to only use the features you need. There also is the option to create personalized Voxel object that load data procedually. I also tried to improve the documentation and there are more comments in the code, it now contains more details on how to use the package.

More features: You can now use new features like custom origin points, customized realtime fragments, different destruction types and more

Less loading time: There are now smarter caching functionalities that will ensure that the vox files are only read once and then cached
