Although very important in research and specific areas of application (such as aviation), VR/AR headsets never conquered the consumer.
Yet, their relative commercial failure in recent ears did not affect the ongoing quest for the ultimate interaction device. Miniaturization is the key to overpass uncomfortable, clunky devices and recent news gave us hope for less cumbersome VR/AR devices implanted in standard glasses and contact lenses. Some are already coming to stores!
